Drazhar master of blades - the living blade. Chris Fitzpatrick's work on the Dark Eldar and Dark Elf ranges remain my favourite sculpts, even to this day. I wanted this miniature to be mid-leap, arms outstretched like a preying mantis, about to decapitate his chosen victim.

This was painted in around 4 hours and was a nice palette cleanser from the Custodes I have been painting recently.

If you've enjoyed this and would like to learn how to paint this black check out Abadon's painting tutorial

Rogal Dorn, the last wall, as indomitable a figure in Imperial history as any other. The statuesque sculpt encapsulates his personality, his role in the wider Imperium perfectly.

My non metallic version was painted in TMM which was filmed start to finish in 4K.

These will be available via the patreon shortly with a PDF.

Can anyone tell me what house Vyridion was?

I've recently fallen head over heels with the colour shift paints. The Martian green was particularly fitting for this mechanicum knight. Although Vyridion masked their previous colours, I wanted some of the old livery to show through, thus the red.

The entire process of painting this knight was filmed in full 4K and will be available via the patreon.

Rogal Dorn, the last wall, as indomitable a figure in Imperial history as any other. The statuesque sculpt encapsulates his personality, his role in the wider Imperium perfectly. This is a commission piece for a client that requested I recreate the original scheme. I was lucky enough to paint a non-metallic metal and a true metallic version, which was filmed start to finish in 4K.

These will be available via the patreon shortly with a PDF.

When I think of the silhouette of a Horus Heresy force there are certain models that stand out. The Contemptor pattern dreadnought, the wonderful Praetor set, cataphractii terminators, the sicaran and, of course, the Spartan.

The Spartan has been a hallmark of Heresy gaming since the beginning. A big chunk of resin that was nigh impossible to kill on the tabletop. It has been the ferry for the great and the good, Primarchs, Deathstars and even the humble Tactical squad. I knew I needed one in my collection, however, I quickly came to realise that this model didn't really suit my playstyle with the Blood Angels. The Day of Revelations does favour more hard-hitting, drop assault units, so this project has kept being delayed while I filled up on assault marines, Dreadclaws and Dreadnoughts. I've finally managed to complete this, replete with Black marble, chased with the gold of the Blood Angel decal sheet.

If you would like to learn how to paint the black marble like this, there is a short video up on the patreon, as well as a legion focus on how I paint the Blood Angel red.

Enjoy!
